- What is the closing date for entries?
- Closing date is the day you must have your entry submitted. Closing dates are specified at the beginning of each section in the 2026 Schedule.
- Where can I submit my entry form?
- Entries can be completed on line via www.bendigoshow.com.au/competitions, by post or at the Bendigo Showgrounds office (Open 8.30am - 4.30pm weekdays)
- Where do I deliver my exhibits?
- To the prescribed pavilion for the relevant section. See 2026 Schedule for further information.
- When can I collect my exhibits?
- Exhibits may only be collected as stated or by arrangement with the Chief Steward of the relevant Section or the Secretary. Hours for collection are detailed in the 2026 Schedule in the individual Section Regulations.
- Where & When do I collect my prize money?
- Prize money will be available from the office on the Friday following the show unless otherwise specified. If you supplied your bank details during registration, you prize money will be processed within a fortnight of the Show.
- Can I bring a dog into the showgrounds?
- Dog show entries are permitted for the purpose of the dog show but must be restrained. Assistance dogs are permitted in all areas. No other dogs are permitted on site during the show.
- Do you have wheelchairs/walkers for hire?
- No accessibility items will be available to hire.
- What is the admission fee to the Show?
- ADULT
- Online earlybird = $20.00.
- At the Gate or Online After 12.00am, Friday 23rd = $25.00
- CONCESSION & STUDENT
- Online earlybird = $10.00.
- At the Gate or Online After 12.00am, Friday 23rd = $15.00
- Students or Seniors Card must be presented on the day - health care card not accepted.
- Companion card holders accompanying concession card holders enter free.
- CHILDREN 12 YEARS AND UNDER = FREE ENTRY
- ADULT
- What time does the Show open and close?
- Gates 3 will open from 6am and Gate 1 will open from 7am for livestock competitors only.
- Gates will be open tot he Public from 9am until 9pm each day.
- Where can I park my car and is there disabled parking available?
- Parking is available inside the showgrounds or adjacent to the main entrance on Holmes Road. Disabled parking area is adjacent to Gate 1.
- Do I have to pay for car parking?
- $10.00 per vehicle inside the grounds after 5pm only or $10.00 per vehicle in the Society’s Holmes Road car park.
- Are there parenting rooms available?
- Yes - located in the foyer of the Fosterville Gold Exhibition Centre and main toilet block.
- If I bring someone else’s entry to the Show who’s name should it be under?
- At all times refer to the exhibitor’s name or organisation the exhibit has been entered for the Show.
- How do I know if I should enter novice, intermediate or open, Senior or Junior section?
- Novice: A person either exhibiting for the first time or never won a prize or Best Exhibit in that particular section.
- Intermediate: An exhibitor that has exhibited previously and been successful wining either the Best Exhibit or a first prize.
- Open: An exhibitor that is open age or experience.
- Senior: Exhibitors over the age of 18 years as of the day of the Show.
- Junior: Exhibitors 18 years and under as of the day of the Show
- Can I post my entry or can it be returned by post?
- Yes provided a pre paid post pack or self addressed envelope/package is supplied.
- Is there camping available?
- Limited camping is available for livestock exhibitors or stallholders only. A fee of $25.00 per night applies..
- Is there a bus service to the show?
- Buses stop at the front gate of the show. Buses running every half hour each day.
- Do I have to sign an insurance waiver form?
- All entrants and livestock exhibitors are required to sign a waiver form as a condition of entry.
- Is there an ATM at the show?
- Yes - Bendigo Bank ATM is located outside the Main Entrance.
- What time are the Fireworks?
- 9pm each night.
