JUDGING: 9:30am WEDNESDAY
All prize money will be paid when exhibits are collected.
REGULATIONS:
1. ALL ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO THE BY-LAW REGULATIONS OF THE SOCIETY.
2. Delivery and collection of exhibits:
Delivery: Exhibits to be delivered to the Showgrounds on Tuesday 24th October between 8am and 12noon.
Exhibits forwarded by post or rail is to be clearly marked “Art Section” on the outside of the parcel. These exhibits will be returned immediately after the Show at the exhibitor’s expense.
Collection: All exhibits will be available for collection on Monday, 30th October between 8am and 10.30am only. The Society will not accept responsibility for exhibits not collected before that time.
3. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
4. All exhibits must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor and executed during 2021 or 2022.
5. ALL ART EXHIBITS MUST BE FRAMED AND BE ABLE TO BE HUNG WITH WIRE ONLY (FRAMED ART SECTION).
6. All exhibits to be no larger than 1 metre x 1 metre including frame.
7. Exhibit cards will be issued which must be firmly attached to the front of the exhibit on the lower right hand corner.
8. No piece of work may be entered in more than one class.
9. Entries that have previously won a First Prize at a Bendigo Agricultural Show are not eligible to compete.
10. Disability Art Section is open to any person with a disability only.
11. Judges or Society Committee reserve the right to change an entry to another class in the event of an incorrect entry or to exclude any entry altogether if such an entry is considered detrimental to the general standard of the exhibition.
Please Note: Work can be offered for sale with a 5% commission payable to the Society. Exhibits to be nominated for sale at the time of entry with the Secretary
All exhibits to be no larger than 50cm x 35cm.
